Bentonite Clay
Traditionally used as a natural digestive adsorbent.
Flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum)
Provides fibre and mucilage traditionally used to support bowel function and stool bulk.
Slippery Elm Bark (Ulmus rubra)
Traditionally used for its mucilage content to soothe and support healthy digestive mucous membranes.
Fennel Seeds (Foeniculum vulgare)
Traditionally used to help ease gas and bloating and promote comfortable digestion.
Peppermint (Mentha × piperita)
Traditionally used to support digestion and help ease gas and digestive discomfort.
Pairs Well With
Oral Rehydration Solution
If minor digestive upset has resulted in loose stools, an oral rehydration solution can help replace fluids and electrolytes that may be lost.
Dandelion
If digestive upset has passed but the digestive system needs additional gentle support, Dandelion may complement IntestoPro by traditionally supporting liver and digestive function.
Cautions
Activated Charcoal: May reduce the absorption and effectiveness of medicines and supplements. Separate from oral medicines and supplements by at least 2–4 hours. Not intended for prolonged daily use unless advised by a healthcare practitioner.
Bentonite Clay: May reduce the absorption of medicines and supplements. Separate administration by at least 2 hours.
Flaxseed: Take with sufficient water. Use with caution if you have difficulty swallowing or a condition that may increase the risk of intestinal obstruction.
Slippery Elm: May reduce the absorption of oral medication when taken at the same time. Separate administration by at least 2 hours.
Peppermint: May aggravate gastro-oesophageal reflux symptoms in susceptible individuals.
